4 августа на треке спортивного комплекса «Автодром» пройдет первый этап любительской серии автомобильных шоссейно-кольцевых гонок OpenRussianRace, в которой может принять участие каждый, для кого скорость – это жизнь, а желание побеждать – неотъемлемая часть характера.
Соревнования на трассе будут проходить в формате TimeAttack в пяти зачетных классах, сформированных в зависимости от мощности двигателя. Отличительной чертой мероприятия является использование профессиональной системы хронометража, которая используется в заездах Формулы 1 — высокоточной телеметрии MyLaps – мирового лидера в области спортивного хронометража. В ходе серии гонок OpenRussianRace участники также смогут объединиться в группы для прохождения командного зачёта – TeamBattle, результат которого складывается из суммы очков, заработанной всеми участниками команды. Среди участников уже заявлены команды: Ferrari, Maserati, OpenRussianRace, EvilEmpire.
Развлекательная программа кроме традиционных конкурсов и розыгрышей призов будет включать в себя дрифт- и мото-шоу, авто-батл, экстремальное такси, автовыставку и многое другое.
Любительская серия автомобильных шоссейно-кольцевых гонок OpenRussianRace будет проводиться на трассе «Автодром» Санкт-Петербург, уникальном многоцелевом учебно-спортивном комплексе, соответствующем международным стандартам. Трасса «Автодрома» имеет самую быструю скоростную прямую в России, позволяющая развивать скорость более 300 км/ч. Шоссейно-кольцевая трасса с высокотехнологичным асфальтовым покрытием, спроектирована в соответствии с требованиями FIA к трассам категории 2 и требованиям РАФ к шоссейно-кольцевым гоночным трассам категории 1. Трасса имеет конфигурацию быстрых и медленных поворотов, что гарантирует высокую сложность прохождения дистанции. Стартовая прямая позволяет разогнаться до 240 км/ч.
Инструктаж участников и технические проверки начнутся в 9:00. С 11:00 на треке начнется практика, квалификация назначена на 13:40, а начало финальных заездов – 16:20.
